Brady Yoder Moves Up A Spot To Claim Class A Title By Doug Binder, DyeStat Editor Junior Brady Yoder finished behind Sean Korsmo at last year's North Dakota state cross country championships. On Saturday at Souris Valley Golf Course in Minot, Yoder, of Dickinson, switched the order and claimed the individual title in 15:21. Korsmo, also a junior, ran a PR 15:33 for second place. Century packed its scoring five into the 7-9-10-12-13 spots and claimed its third team title in four years. The five-man compression was 13 seconds. In the girls race, Meghan Ford of Jamestown ran an impressive time of 17:41 and won the individual honors by 48 seconds. Ford also won in 2018. West Fargo put five scorers in the top 25 and won the first girls cross country title in school history. In Class B, the New Town boys extended their dynasty by putting five runners in the top 22 to claim an eighth straight state championship. Senior Robert White ran 15:53 for the individual victory. He was second in 2018 and 2017. Senior Reagan Baesler of Hillsboro/Central Valley became the first girl to win four consecutive Class B titles, running 18:27 to win the race by 29 seconds. However, Rugby stopped Hillsboro/Central Valley's eight-year run as the team champion. Rugby put three in the top nine and scored 78 points.
